The dress has an integrated petticoat sewn in that gives the skirt its volume. You don't need to buy a separate one unless you want extra fullness (the model wears an additional petticoat in some images for added poof).
Q: Are the corset laces functional?
The white lacing down the front is decorative only — the dress closes. Functional enough to look the part, easy enough to get on in under a minute.
Q: Can I wear this indoors at a pub or will I overheat?
