Shipping within Australia
All orders are dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse. We ship Australia-wide via Australia Post.
Shipping options & estimated delivery

Same-day dispatch
Orders placed before 2:00 PM AEST, Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM, on weekends or public holidays are dispatched the next business day.
Ordering in time for Book Week
Australian Book Week is usually held in the third or fourth week of August. To make sure your costume arrives in time, we recommend ordering:
- Standard Post: at least 7 business days before your school’s parade day
- Express Post: at least 4 business days before your school’s parade day
We cannot guarantee Australia Post delivery times during peak periods. If you’re cutting it close, choose Express Post.
Tracking
Every order ships with tracking. You’ll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order is dispatched.
Lost or delayed parcels
If your tracking has not updated for more than 5 business days, contact us at sales@kidsbookweekcostumes.com.au and we will lodge an investigation with Australia Post.
International shipping
We currently ship within Australia only.
