Kids Book Week Costumes is an Australian-owned, Melbourne-based small business (ABN 70 682 690 857). Every August we ship thousands of costumes to schools, kindys, and homes across Australia — from Sydney's Inner West to outback WA.
Why we exist
The week before Book Week is stressful for parents. The big retailers run out of the popular characters by early August. Generic dress-up shops don't carry the right titles. We built this store specifically for Book Week — so when your kid comes home on Monday saying "I need to be the Cat in the Hat by Friday", you know exactly where to go.
What makes us different
- We ship from Australia. Same-day dispatch on orders before 2:00 PM AEST. No three-week wait from overseas.
- We're Book Week-first. Our range is curated around the books Australian schools actually read — not generic Halloween stock.
- We answer emails. Real humans, AEST business hours, usually within a few hours.
- 14-day returns. If it's the wrong size, send it back.
