What size should I order?
Check the size chart image for chest and height measurements. The leotard is stretchy spandex, so it has some give, but if your child is between sizes we'd say size up — the undershorts are attached and you want them comfortable.
Can she wear this over regular clothes, or does it need a base layer?
The leotard has attached undershorts, so she can wear it on its own (no tights or shorts underneath needed). If the classroom is cold, a long-sleeve white tee underneath works without killing the look.
How do I wash this? Is the fabric durable?
Hand wash cold, hang to dry — the spandex and printed graphics hold up better that way. The visor and pads wipe clean with a damp cloth. Velcro straps stay grippy through multiple wears.
Is this suitable for outdoor events like school sports carnivals or fun runs?
Absolutely — the leotard is athletic-cut and breathable, and the pads stay put with velcro. Just remember sunscreen on bare shoulders if it's a sunny day.
