What size should I order?
Check the size chart image for chest and height measurements. The trousers have an elasticated waistband with some give, but if your child is between sizes we'd suggest sizing up — the cropped top sits higher and you want enough coverage for school events.
Can the veil be worn separately or does it have to stay on?
The veil is a separate piece with an elastic band, so your child can take it off once they're through the Book Week parade if it feels fiddly. The costume still looks complete without it.
Is this suitable for classroom wear or is it more for performances?
It's designed for both. The elastic waistband and ankle cuffs mean it's comfortable enough for a full school day, and the sheer sleeves are lightweight so it won't overheat indoors. The cropped top shows a bit of midriff — fine for most primary schools, but check your school's dress code if you're unsure.
How do I wash this without damaging the sequins?
Hand wash in cold water or use a gentle machine cycle inside a pillowcase to protect the sequined trim. Hang to dry — don't tumble. The gold trim is stitched on securely, but rough handling will loosen sequins over time.
Care: Hand wash cold, hang dry, iron sheer sleeves on low if needed.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
