- Matching red and white striped beanie with red pom-pom
- Round black plastic frame-only glasses (no lenses)
This Adult Where's Wally Costume is an officially licensed set that brings Martin Handford's beloved puzzle-book character to life. The striped top, beanie with pom-pom, and round frame glasses are instantly recognizable — ideal for Book Week, teacher dress-up days, or any literary character event where you want to channel childhood nostalgia.
The horizontal red-and-white stripes run across both the short-sleeve top and the beanie, matched with the signature round black glasses. Pair with blue jeans and comfortable shoes (not included) for the full look.
Perfect For
Book Week & Teacher Dress-Up Days: A classic choice for Australian schools celebrating Book Week — teachers love this one for its instant recognition and easy assembly. Works beautifully for storybook character parades or literacy-themed events.
90s Nostalgia & Themed Parties: Great for retro parties, 1990s throwback events, or group costumes where friends dress as different Where's Wally characters. The puzzle-book series is a generational touchstone.
Conventions & Literary Events: Ideal for book fairs, comic conventions, or any costume party where literary characters are celebrated. The unisex design means anyone can wear it.
How to Wear It
Pair with blue jeans and black canvas sneakers for the authentic Wally look. Add a red-and-white walking stick prop if you want to go all-in. The glasses sit comfortably without lenses, so your own prescription glasses can layer underneath if needed.
Parent FAQs
Q: What size should I order?
A: This is an adult unisex costume. Check the size chart for chest measurements — the top has a classic crew-neck fit. If you're between sizes and want a roomier fit, size up.
Q: Can I wear this for Book Week as a teacher?
A: Absolutely. Where's Wally is a staple early-childhood literacy book, so it's perfect for teacher Book Week costumes. Students will recognize you instantly, and it's comfortable enough to wear all day at school.
Q: Do I need to buy the pants separately?
A: Yes — the set includes the striped top, beanie, and glasses only. Pair with your own blue jeans for the classic look. Any plain blue jeans will work.
Q: Is this suitable for group costumes?
A: Definitely. Pair with friends dressed as Wenda, Wizard Whitebeard, or Odlaw for a full Where's Wally group. The puzzle-book theme works beautifully for coordinated costume parties or school staff dress-up days.
