PRODUCT DETAILS
What's in the Box
- One (1) teacup tabard โ gold-trimmed rim and saucer base, dimensional handles and an attached 'Spill it' tea bag tag (all part of the one garment)
- Clothing worn underneath, shoes and accessories are not included
This Kids Teacup Costume turns your child into a walk-on tea party prop โ white cylindrical cup with gold-trimmed rim and base, pink watercolor roses across the front, and a dangling foam tea bag tag stamped 'Spill it'. Dimensional gold handles curve out from each side, and the whole thing slips on over regular clothes in under a minute.
The tabard hangs from shoulders with open sides for arms โ your kid steps into the cup body, head pops through the gold rim, and they're instantly a storybook teacup. Lightweight foam-backed construction won't drag on small shoulders. Pair with all-black underneath (turtleneck and leggings as pictured) to keep the focus on the cup itself.
Perfect For
Book Week & Literature Days: Natural match for Alice in Wonderland tea party scenes, Beauty and the Beast (Chip / Mrs. Potts era), or any fairytale with enchanted kitchenware.
School Dress-Up Days: Easy one-piece costume for nursery rhyme parades, 100 days of school (pair with a 'spill the tea' pun sign), or storybook character events. Goes on over school clothes if the classroom's cold.
Themed Parties & Play: Birthday tea parties, Mad Hatter events, or just backyard dress-up with the teapot-wielding sibling (teapot sold separately, visible in styling photo).
How to Wear It
Slip on over a black long-sleeve top and black leggings for the cleanest look โ lets the gold trim and rose graphics pop. Skip busy patterns underneath; the teacup does all the talking. Comfortable Mary Janes or black sneakers finish it off.
Parent FAQs
Q: What size should I order?
Measure shoulder-to-knee length and chest width, then check the size chart image. The tabard hangs loose with open sides, so if your child is between sizes we'd suggest sizing up for longer wear through the school year.
Q: Can they wear this over their school uniform for Book Week?
Yes โ the tabard design slips on over regular clothes with no closures or fiddly bits. Arm openings are generous, so jumpers and long sleeves fit underneath fine.
Q: Does the teapot accessory come with it?
No โ the teacup tabard is the only item included. The matching teapot shown in the fourth photo is a separate piece (perfect for sibling or friend coordination if you can source it).
Q: Will this work for dress-up play after Book Week?
Absolutely. It's a lightweight slip-on piece that lives happily in the dress-up box for tea party games, theatre productions, or any time your child wants to be an anthropomorphic cup.
