Does this need a petticoat underneath?
The skirt will sit flat without one, but a petticoat gives you that authentic 1950s flared silhouette. We'd recommend adding one if you want the full vintage look — it's the difference between flat circle skirt and proper poodle skirt volume.
How does the elastic waistband fit?
Pull-on style with standard elastic, no zipper. The waistband stretches to accommodate most sizes within the range, but if you're between sizes or prefer a looser fit at the waist, size up.
Care: Hand wash cold, hang to dry. Iron on low if needed to smooth the satin finish.
