Q: Will this fit my head securely?
The elastic band stretches to fit most adult head sizes (roughly 54–60 cm circumference). It sits snug without pinching — test the position before your event and adjust so the feather sits at the angle you want.
Q: Can I wear this with an updo or should my hair be down?
Works beautifully either way. Finger-wave bobs are classic 1920s, but you can also wear it with a low chignon or pin curls. Just make sure the elastic band sits flat against your head under the hairstyle.
Q: How do I store the feather so it doesn't get crushed?
Store flat in a box or hang it gently by the elastic band. If the feather gets flattened in transit, gently steam it (hold near steam, don't soak) or fluff with your fingers to restore volume.
Q: Is this suitable for outdoor events or will it blow off?
The elastic holds well in light breeze, but for windy outdoor venues (garden parties, beach weddings) secure it with a bobby pin through the elastic band into your hair for extra insurance.
