Can they wear this over regular clothes?
Yes — the coat goes on over a t-shirt or long-sleeve top, and the pants have an elastic waist so they pull on easily. The boot covers sit over their normal shoes, held in place with elastic stirrup bands.
Do the boot covers stay on during active play?
The elastic ankle bands keep them secure for classroom parades and photos. For running around at recess or a party, they might shift slightly — just tuck the elastic band back under the shoe sole if needed.
Is the sword included?
No — the images show a toy cutlass for styling, but it's not part of the set. You'll want to grab a plastic pirate sword separately if your child's heart is set on carrying one.
