Do the sound-effect gloves actually work?
Yes — there's a small battery-powered sound module sewn into one glove (usually the right). Press the concealed button and it plays Mr Stink sound clips. Batteries are included but replaceable (button-cell type, check packaging for specifics).
Can they wear this over their school uniform?
The jacket goes on over regular clothes, so if Book Week falls on a normal school day they can wear uniform underneath and just slip the costume pieces on top. The bow tie clips or ties on separately.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
