This is a vest-style costume that goes on over your child's own black long-sleeve shirt and black leggings (not included). The vest features two white oval buttons on the front, a curved tail detail on the back, and a hook-and-loop closure that makes dressing stress-free — no wriggling required. What size should I order?
The vest runs true to toddler sizing through the chest and length. If your child is between sizes or you want room to layer a thicker shirt underneath for outdoor Book Week parades, size up. The hook-and-loop back closure gives you about 5cm of flex either way.
What else do I need to complete the costume?
You'll need a black long-sleeve shirt, black leggings or pants, and yellow socks (or yellow shoe covers if you want to go all-in). The costume styling images show this base layer combo — it's not included, so check the wardrobe the night before.
Care: Spot clean the vest and headpiece with a damp cloth. Hand wash gloves in cold water and air dry. The plush headpiece shouldn't go in the washing machine — it'll lose its shape.

Returns Policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
